Spirit & Truth Worship Center is a spirit filled, life-giving, diverse, nondenominational church located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We desire to create an atmosphere where people can come as they are, worship freely, experience the presence and power of God, receive the Word of God, and develop meaningful relationships with people of like faith. No matter who you are or where you’re from, we hope you feel like family and that you know you are welcome here!
" God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
Monday Night Bible Study
On Monday nights from 7:00-8:15pm, we host Bible studies for men and women of all ages. The men meet in the main sanctuary as the ladies gather next door in Marler Hall. These are intimate, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter studies as we go through one Book of the Bible at a time. Questions, comments, and conversation are welcomed and encouraged during this time of devotion as we learn and grow together in our knowledge of God’s Word. We would love for you to join us on Monday nights!
In the past few years, God has opened a door that has allowed Spirit & Truth Worship Center to be a blessing to the people of Haiti. We have specifically been involved with “Water of Life Evangelical Church” in Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti in which we’ve been able to purchase the church a drum set, sponsor Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the children, and help feed the families within the congregation. Now, through our partnership with OneChild, we are being afforded an incredible opportunity to do more. To directly impact the life of impoverished children in Haiti with food, shelter, education, and most of all, THE GOSPEL.
At Spirit & Truth Worship Center, your kids are so important to us. With opportunities for toddlers through young adults in college, there is something for everyone. We hope your child will come to know Jesus and make plenty of friends along the way. One the 1st and 2nd Wednesday night of every month, we offer our lower and upper elementary students as well as our middle school students classes and other fun activities. Our STWC kids also have fellowship opportunities at least quarterly with after church fun and Vacation Bible School in the summer. The Young Ambassadors (high school students and young adults) meet monthly for fun and fellowship, as well as other service projects. At STWC we also have a special group called, “Rock House” for young boys/men ages 8-20. The purpose of this group is to come together monthly and battle the attack against masculinity in our culture by developing a firm foundation on how to be a Godly man through Bible study and outdoor skills. This group meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month
Wednesday Night Worships
At Spirit & Truth Worship Center, we believe Wednesday nights are an incredible opportunity to invite God into the middle of your week! From Worship to Word, Prayer, Small Groups and children’s activities, we offer something unique each week for you and the family. Our Wednesday night services begin each week at 7:00pm.
(Worship, Word, God & Family)
On the first Wednesday of every month, we gather as a church family and immerse ourselves in worshiping God, as well as receiving His Word. First Wednesday usually reflects a Sunday morning service as our Worship Team sings and our Pastor or another Elder in the church delivers the Message. (Classes and other fun activities are available to all Elementary & Middle School Students on this night).
(Ladies of Light)
On the third Wednesday of every month, the Ladies of Light (LOL) gather in the main sanctuary for a time of fellowship, testimonies and receiving God’s Word together. This is a night of ministry devoted to women only and is open to ladies of all ages. (Child Care is not provided on this night).
On the second Wednesday of every month, we gather as a church family for a time of prayer. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” On this night each month we reserve this time together for no other purpose but to encourage one another, seek the face of God, and call on the name of the Lord together as a church. (Classes and other fun activities are available to all Elementary & Middle School Students on this night as well).
(Men of Valor)
On the fourth Wednesday of every month, the Men of Valor (MOV) gather in the main sanctuary for a time of fellowship, testimonies and receiving God’s Word together. This is a night of ministry devoted to men only and is open to gentlemen of all ages. (Child Care is not provided on this night). Please stay connected to our Facebook page for more information regarding Wednesday nights.
